The Legal Workshop is a blog-based compendium of short, non-technical summaries of recently published law-review articles, written by the original authors. (Thanks to the Wired Campus.) Comment . It's a great idea, and many other fields, especially in the humanities and social sciences, should follow suit. However, OA to brief summaries is no reason to slow down or give up on OA to full-texts.

Comments Aerts is right that the recession is no obstacle to OA archiving and that authors should be encouraged to seize the opportunity. However, I wouldn't call green OA a "scheme...adopted by publishers".
