I just mailed the June issue of the SPARC Open Access Newsletter . This issue takes a close look at the University of Maryland faculty vote rejecting a proposed OA policy. The round-up section briefly notes 165 OA developments from May. Update (2:00 pm EST). There seems to be a problem with the list software today.

In October, we blogged about the work of a group of Pirate Students in the student union at at the University of Uppsala in drafting a resolution supporting OA. At that time, the Pirate Students had 5 seats in the student union.
