Concurrent with the PKP Annual General Meeting, which takes place tomorrow October 3rd in Burnaby, Canada, PKP has published its annual report for 2013. The report includes updates for all our areas of activity: such as software development, research,  and community involvement.

PKP Development Sprint: Following on our very successful first development sprint in March 2014, this week PKP developers will once more gather with many of our partners to work intensively on a variety of projects. You will find the release notes here, but some of the more exciting new features are: OJS now supports automatic CrossRef deposits. With this new version of OJS comes an updated “2.0” release of the CrossRef plugin, adding new functionality and features; such as automatic deposits. This plugin will see continued refinement and improvement as its use increases.

Hello all, This is the first of what will hopefully become a series of posts about the technical aspects of PKP software, including tips and tricks for developers and system administrators. We hope it will be useful to anyone maintaining or customizing an OJS installation or interested in contributing.

After a short hiatus while we were working hard on finishing up OJS 2.4.5, the PKP Roundup is back with news on our latest software developments. OJS Stable line (2.4.x): OJS 2.4.5 will be available Monday September 15, so stay tuned. More information on what is included in this particular release will be available then.

Translations have started and bug fixes should be completed by the end of next week. The translations should be completed by August 22, while the last round of testing will be done the last week of August.
