We continuously improve Hypergraph, our tool for communicating research as-you-go — instead of after-the-fact — to allow researchers to focus on their core interest: doing research. We care about meeting researchers where they are, in order to make research life easier. To that end, Liberate Science is partnering with Coko and its spin off project Cabbage Tree Labs to seamlessly integrate working with Word files in Hypergraph.

Cultural and individual differences of any kind should not make it harder to use software or technology in your everyday lives. Regretfully, it still very much does, as the default is that of an able-bodied white man in an overdeveloped country.

We recently wrapped up another workcycle for the Hypergraph application, codenamed "Doughnut." On June 1st, we partnered with GEUT (Argentina) to develop open source software to support the peer-to-peer commons (p2pcommons) infrastructure that powers our application Hypergraph.
