The Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems is a new peer-reviewed OA journal published by the Institute of Global Environment and Society. The journal operates a companion forum, Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems - Discussion, for posting and discussing papers before they have undergone peer review. Both are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.

The Directory of Open Access Journals has updated its new titles page, adding RSS feeds of recent additions to the directory. The feature was added on October 22, 2008. Feeds are available for journals added in the last 24 hours, last 7 days, or last 30 days.
