The fourth set of sprint notes is now available from the PKP Copenhagen Sprint, hosted by the Royal Danish Library in June 2023 . Sprints involve PKP community members coming together in diverse groups to work on PKP software and support. The Royal Danish Library hosted eight working groups at the PKP Copenhagen Sprint last June. This is a summary of one such group’s work.

Dr. Tony Mays has been a part of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) team since February 2019 as an Education Specialist for Open Schooling.  In 2019, he joined the Editorial Board of COL’s Journal of Learning for Development and subsequently took over management of the journal.

On this Software Freedom Day and during its 25th anniversary, PKP takes a pause to celebrate its FOSS software and community. This September 16th, 2023, is Software Freedom Day, an annual world-wide celebration coordinated by the Digital Freedom Foundation to raise awareness of what it means to use free software and to encourage its use.
