PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access. Preserved content in the PKP PN is only made available to users after a trigger event, at which time the content will be made accessible to the reading public.

As cOAlition S stipulates, for its funded research, all peer-reviewed scholarly articles must be published in venues that meet the Plan S “Requirements for Publication Venues”. The webinar will go over these requirements and how they can be met using OJS.

Earlier this month PKP welcomed Devika Goel to the team as a UX/UI designer. Described as a ‘powerhouse’ by some of her colleagues, she is already well on her way to collecting and analyzing data that will help her implement more ‘community-centric design’ in her work. Devika has lots to share about her experiences, her viewpoints on “current social, political and economic order”, and the reasons why open source matters to her.
