The contributor’s guide builds on changes we announced regarding how we collect and manage community feedback.
PKP is hosting the 2022 AGM and we value attendance from the community. Our software continues to improve because of the input of community members, users, software developers, editors, librarians and people in scholarly communications. As part of an annual tradition at this time of year, the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) released its 2021 Annual Report on June 28th, 2022. The report, covering the fiscal year 2021 to March 31st, touches on all the year’s highlights in PKP’s ongoing efforts to expand public access to research and scholarship. At the top of the highlight list this year is PKP’s signing on to Simon Fraser University’s (SFU) Core Facilities Program.

May 16, 2022 PKP wants to acknowledge and thank Sonya Betz, Head, Library Publishing and Digital Production Services, University of Alberta , for her role as the Chair of the Technical Committee. Sonya’s expertise in online user experience, digital repositories, scholarly publishing, and open access made her an invaluable member of the PKP technical committee.
