PKP invites the community to join its Software Development Update webinar on June 17th, 2024, at 8 AM PDT. PKP invites those interested in the developments that underpin its scholarly publishing software to join in on June 17th for a free and open webinar.

PKP is pleased to announce that it is a supporter of the Principles for Open Scholarly Infrastructure (POSI). Since its founding in 1998, the Public Knowledge Project has been committed to open principles, most particularly around releasing our software under an open source license.

PKP is pleased to release its Annual Report for fiscal year 2023, including updates on software development and usage, advisory committee, community governance, committees and interest groups, research, publishing services, Coalition Publica partnership, financial and operations, contributors, and more. It’s been another exciting and productive year, with lots to celebrate during PKP’s 25th Anniversary!

The Publication Facts Label (PFL) will be used to bring together information about article and journal scholarly publishing standards through verification, and to communicate that verification to the public.
