Introduction We are happy to announce that we have improved the prefix assignment workflow in Fabrica. Following  pillar one of our strategic plan: “Provide easy, efficient and responsive community services to support the needs of our community”, we simplified the prefix assignment workflow. The new process gives more autonomy to our members when setting up repositories in Fabrica.

Hello world! This week I joined DataCite in the role of  Community Manager. Being a strong supporter of open research and persistent identifiers (PIDs), I’m excited to work with the DataCite team and community to build more openness and trust in scholarly infrastructure.  Before joining DataCite, I worked for more than five years at ORCID, focusing on community engagement and support.

I joined DataCite at the beginning of March as an Application Support Engineer, and it’s been a pleasure to immerse myself in the community, technology, and culture at DataCite so far.
