Retractions and corrections from Retraction Watch are now available in Crossref’s REST API. Back in September 2023, we announced the acquisition of the Retraction Watch database with an ongoing shared service. Since then, they have sent us regular updates, which are publicly available as a csv file. Our aim has always been to better integrate these retractions with our existing metadata, and today we’ve met that goal.

In the context of conflict and displacement, peace constitutes a widely neglected topic in research debates. Especially, displaced people and their active contributions to peace are largely ignored therein. However, in our research in Kakuma in Kenya we explored various peace-related practices of displaced individuals.

When I came across Flagship Pioneering’s 2025 annual letter, authored by Noubar Afeyan, the concept of “polyintelligence” struck me as not just timely, but foundational.
